Sacramento County Sheriff Training Unit’s Location

Located off of Highway 50 at the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Training Center.  Take Highway 50 to Watt Avenue off ramp, go North on Watt over the American River and take “American River Drive” off ramp. Proceed east to Sandbar then right.on Sandbar to  Riverwalk Drive is the second left turn. (look for the Sheriff’s Training Unit sign!)..  .

Bakersfield Police Department, Bakersfield, California.  This is a contracted POST PLAN IV course and has NO Fees  (FREE) December 5-10, 2009 .  Contact lCathy Kibbey at  ckibbey@bakersfieldpd.us to enroll.  The training location is at the  Bakersfield PD Range classroom.  Class begins at 0800 on the first day.

Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department, Santa Rosa, California.  This is a contracted POST PLAN IV course and has NO Fees  (FREE) November 2-7, 2009 .  Class is filled. Class begins at 0800 on the first day.

More classes are tentatively scheduled for after July 1 throughout California.

Class begins at 0800 on the first day. Hours are long. Bring an ID kit for and packaging materials.
