Sacramento County Sheriff Training Unit’s Location

Located off of Highway 50 at the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Training Center.  Take Highway 50 to Watt Avenue off ramp, go North on Watt over the American River and take “American River Drive” off ramp. Proceed east to Sandbar then right.on Sandbar to  Riverwalk Drive is the second left turn. (look for the Sheriff’s Training Unit sign!)..  .

Crime Scene Investigation & Reconstruction

Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, 1414 Natividad, Salinas, California.  This is a contracted POST PLAN IV course and has NO Fees  (FREE) This class will be scheduled for January 23-28, 2012,  Contact Detective Dave Pawlak, Santa Cruz Police Department, (831) 420-5829 – Office, (831) 420-5821 – Fax to register for this class co-sponsored by Santa Cruz Police Department.   Class begins at 0800 on the first day.  Bring an ID kit to process 4 scenes and hearing protection for the range.

Escondido Police Department, 1163 N. Centre City Parkway, Escondido.  This is a contracted POST PLAN IV course and has NO Fees  (FREE) This class will be scheduled for March 5-10, 2012, Contact Linda Martin of the Escondido Police Department at (760) 839-4770 to register.  Class begins at 0800 on the first day.  Bring an ID kit to process 4 scenes and hearing protection for the range.

Additional classes to be offered in Ontario, Contra Costa County and other locations in  Califiornia during 2012. POST Plan IV, no fees. As course dates are established they will be posted here.

Bloodshed Interpretation

Redding Police Department!, NO FEES A POST PLAN IV course   Offered December 5-9, 2011. This class has already been  filled by local agencies.

This 40 hour course will be offered in Ventura, Monterey, Contra Costa County and other locations during 2012. NO FEES for this POST PLAN IV course.  As course dates are established they will be posted here.
