Tom has been employed with the California Department of Justice Since 1985,and involved with general crime investigations as well as homicide scene investigations since that time. As a member of the Crime
Investigation Response Team for the Department of Justice, he developed his skills in major crime investigation and in the management of inter-jurisdictional cases involving multiple crime scenes.
Tom is presently an active member of the Departmental CIRT team as well as the Assistant Laboratory Director of the Chico Crime Laboratory serving a large portion of Northern California.
He has been an instructor in crime scene investigation for over 15 years and has been with NCIT for three years.
